BIOGRAPHY

“The art is the experience you have with the piece” I am not sure who said this, but I can relate. Immersing yourself in ones work is the evolution of creativity.

I paint in watercolor, acrylic and oil. I am a signature artist of the West Virginia Watercolor Society, and the Baltimore Watercolor Society . 

My formal education was in Advertising and Illustration from SUNY at Farmingdale, Long Island, NY.  I enjoy changing the colors of nature in my paintings, making a fantasy out of reality. Looking at grassy fields and tall trees evoke an emotional excitement. This excitement is what makes me want to paint and share this fresh new way of viewing the world. Every medium I select, every surface I paint on, every tool I use takes me in a different direction. It all depends on the emotions I feel that day and what inspires me. How do I want to tell you, the viewer, my story today.
